In the world of online gaming, fairness is everything. But how can you trust what you can’t see?
Many game providers claim their games are “fair,” but is that enough?
We’ve developed a provably fair score scale—the first of its kind—to help you evaluate these claims confidently.
What Does Our Scale Measure?
We’ve redefined what “provably fair” truly means for crash games. Each game we review undergoes a strict background check to determine how the game provider guarantees fairness.
Our evaluation goes beyond vague fairness guarantees to offer a detailed, 5-tier rating system. Here’s how ‘Fairness Score’ works and what each grade means.

Rating 5 (The Gold Standard)
This rating represents the ultimate level of fairness. Not only can you verify fairness in real time, but you can also modify your client-side seed value. Full transparency, full control.
Rating 4 (Provably Fair in Real Time)
Games with this rating offer a level of fairness with which we are absolutely satisfied. They let you check fairness in real time using external algorithm encryption tools. However, there’s one limitation: players can’t customize their client-side seed.
Rating 3 (Certified Fairness)
This rating is most common but, for the most part, satisfactory. Games within this rating come with valid RNG certificates from reputable testing labs or reputable gambling authorities that demand fairness be certified. However, these games do lack real-time player verification.
Rating 2 (Questionable Fairness)
Games rated with a ‘2’ offer alleged fairness by mentioning the algorithm type or other details about the game’s fairness. The problem is that there is no real proof. Providers may talk a big game, but without valid RNG testing certificates or gambling authority certificates, you have no real way to verify the fairness of the game you’re playing.
Rating 1 (Untrustworthy)
Games with this rating offer zero transparency; the type of algorithm used or fairness are not mentioned within the game’s menus or on the provider pages. If a game has no proof of fairness or certifications from reputable RNG testing laboratories, it gets the lowest score.
Our Fairness Verification Process
As mentioned a few hundred pixels earlier, each game listed on Crash Gambler is subjected to a meticulous background check.
When inspecting game algorithms, we follow the next steps:
- Inspecting of the game and the in-game documentation.
Most of the time, information about the game’s algorithm or its actual real-time fairness can be checked within the game. When that isn’t possible, we do a thorough check on the game provider’s website. - Verifying the fairness claims or testing the in-game real-time provable fairness
At this stage, we either research the game’s licensing or RNG testing documentation. Games that offer in-game real-time provable fairness are subjected to our randomized test using external SHA256 (or other) algorithm encryption tools. - Making sure the certificate is valid and reputable
During the verification process, we ensure that all game providers’ certificates are valid and come from respected RNG testing facilities. We check each certificate in detail. - Assigning the game a fairness score
Based on the results from the previous step, we evaluate the results and assign the game an appropriate fairness score.
In many cases, game providers also (or only) present valid gaming licenses from reputable jurisdictions that demand thorough RNG testing as part of the licensing process.
Before we count that as valid proof of fairness, we make sure that the RNG testing was done in respected testing facilities, all of which can be found in this list by the UK Gambling Commission.
